Lots of people ask us why we’re different from conventional workspaces… Let us tell you!
Community is our cornerstone. We are passionate about providing a welcoming, engaged community for individuals and small teams looking for a great sense of professionalism and belonging.
We’re much smaller! A traditional central London coworking space might be 10x bigger than us in terms of sqft. What does that mean? We create a much cosier and homely feel (hence the name!).
We are local. We’re on local high streets and residential areas so the commute is MUCH shorter. Most of our clients are within a 10 minute walk of our sites.
We’re flexible. You can buy our facilities in increments as small as 30 minutes. There are no big sign up fees and there are no long lock-in periods.
Community
HomeWork is a thriving hub of local businesses and professionals, and a focal point of our high streets in South West London. A place to meet, work, socialise and grow your business.
Expand your network, make connections in business and friendship and feel a part of your local area.
Time and time again our clients tell us how much they love the welcoming community. We are passionate about this to make people happier, feel more purposeful and more anchored in a space that allows them to be their best professional selves. Want to know a secret? We believe community is the secret ingredient for a happy and more productive work life.
Wellbeing
All too often in a hybrid working world, the line between work and life becomes blurred, especially when individuals now spend the majority of their time working from home.
At HomeWork, we are passionate about providing our clients with an office solution that helps them to establish the foundations of a healthy work ethic.
We believe finding balance in your professional and personal life is essential for your happiness and wellbeing, that’s why we are on a mission to get HomeWork on high streets all over the UK!
Having a sense of belonging and purpose at our flexible workspaces will enable you to feel professional, increase your productivity and physically separate home and work.
Physical environment
Our workspaces are ergonomically designed to give clients space where they can reflect and focus, as well as space to connect and network.
With desks, meeting rooms, private offices, a studio, breakout space, a cafe and more... We’ve got the perfect environment for individuals and teams to get together and collaborate in an accessible, professional and serviced space.
If you’re looking to retain the freedoms and convenience of working from home but in an environment conducive to working productively, HomeWork is the solution for you!
Re-inventing our high streets
Working closely with local councils, BIDs and education organisations, we are committed to contributing to the reinvention of our high streets.
Through our connections with nearby businesses and by encouraging our clients to shop local, we actively empower individuals to contribute to the rejuvenation of the high street.
We are proud partners of various local businesses and offer reciprocal discounts to help these businesses thrive and grow. We are proud to be creating opportunities for young people living in the area and making the suburban high streets of South West London an exciting and great place to be.
As an established business that had always leased its own commercial property, Nevado found itself at a crossroads as the world started to emerge from the pandemic. Our team needed much more flexibility and the business case for leasing was no longer strong enough. We found a great solution at HomeWork, where we have dedicated desks for our regulars but also the ability to book more space as and when we need it; plus meeting rooms, phone booths and breakout spaces that we would not have had if we had leased a small serviced office. We love the location of HomeWork in Southfields, with instant access to everything on the high street, but the best thing about it has been the friendly, professional service team who always make you feel welcome, are always happy to help and make dangerously good coffee.

I’ve been with Homework Southfields since it opened and it’s been amazing ever since. Productivity levels have shot through the roof compared to working from home and being around people made such a difference to my personal life. I love the way the staff are so friendly and there are always networking events being arranged which has been a really great way to meet people. I even started working some! Really great energy in this place and I can say the same about all the other locations too. Highly recommended.

We have really enjoyed our time at HomeWork, since joining as a flexible member at HomeWork, Bookado has increased its productivity day-to-day and overall it has helped increase our growth. Some of our team have also attended a couple of the workshop sessions organised by HomeWork which was a great opportunity to meet some of our peers in the workspace, and gain valuable start-up insights!

HomeWork is a lifesaver for me for a variety of reasons:
1. Productivity: I live just down the road but I am one of those people who needs to ‘go’ to the office. HomeWork allows me to effectively ‘WFH’ in a nicer, more productive environment.
2. Time saver: Having a couple of hours of my day back from not having to take the train in, makes my days feel a lot easier. It puts me in a far greater headspace knowing I don’t have to trawl to central on busy public transport every day.
3. Culture. My job doesn’t have a lot of physical presence in the UK. Moving all the way over from New Zealand, where I still don’t know many faces yet, it does make it difficult that the majority of my colleagues rarely come to the office. I much prefer the social setting here, it makes my days a lot more enjoyable.
This office means a lot to me moving to the other side of the world & not knowing anyone!

I think that HomeWork has been incredible for my mental health over the past few months! It has been a safe space during a stressful period for our business, and from the friendly faces at reception to the quiet and productive atmosphere, I love going to HomeWork every day instead of having to face my long commute to central London. It’s a home-from-home.

Working at Homework has been amazing ! I think the key ingredients for us are:
1. The people: All the on-site staff have been so helpful and with exception all have been a real help as we juggle the starting of a new business. Nothing is too much trouble.
2. The flexibility: when we started we had no idea how much we’d be in the office and how many desks we’d need. We didn’t want to overspend as a new start up. Now we have 2 Fixed desks which is the sensible and affordable option for us.
3. The networking: We’ve met some good people at HomeWork and look forward to contracting with some of the businesses we have met. This is really useful for any start up.
4. The coffee: I really appreciate the coffee, it’s great and I look forward to starting the day at HomeWork where they even bring the coffee to my desk when I’m rushing because I’m late!

Ultimately, The Font Borough is the most obvious & tangible outcome for us! Homework gave me the focused space to plan our move to a multi-site leisure operator, and all that entails. The Font Borough went from inception to launch during our first 12 months at Homework. Plus those in the pipeline!

HomeWork has been transformative for us as a business. We have used the space to get back into an office environment coming from working from home for two years!! We started with three members of staff and we now have a strong team of eight! We love the whole atmosphere at HomeWork.

Both my husband and I flexi work out of HomeWork Southfields. It has honestly, changed our lives. As freelancers, having a flexible and comfortable working environment so close to our house has been invaluable. It’s meant we can work in peace and quiet in a professional setting, away from the hubbub of our house filled with young children but still be home in 5 minutes, should we need to. The HomeWork Team are also phenomenal, they know all their regulars by name, are so friendly and make you feel like you’re walking into a working environment that you work at all the time. We couldn’t be more grateful to have a space like this on our doorstep, we feel totally blessed. We’ve got a better work/life balance, we’re able to draw better boundaries in our personal and professional worlds and we’re able to focus more. As working parents, this can be incredibly challenging at times. Thank you Team HomeWork! P.S. The coffee is also fantastic!

Being a creative professional, I enjoy working in HomeWork Workspace because the environment is conducive for productivity. It is simply-designed, bright and clean. A cluttered, over-designed or loud environment is the very antithesis to the creative mindset. The facilities are good quality and sufficient for my use. The location is bustling and convenient. But what makes this place special is the staff, who are friendly and helpful, and always ensure that my dog and I feel welcome. I highly recommend HomeWork Workspace. With very little outlay, you can start developing your ideas, your business, your professionalism and build the foundations of a healthy work ethic, all in a caring environment.

HomeWork to me has been a real salvation! Both for my business and personally. Entrepreneurship is a lonely journey and just being able to get out of the house, come to HomeWork, see the gorgeous smiles from the team… it’s just priceless.
You have a fantastic team who helps me whenever, it makes me feel like I belong here! On top of it, I have met great people including the fabulous Claire, I love the community, the flexibility & the care! HomeWork is my second home!

Getting the team together has made us more productive, we laugh more and when we struggle… we struggle together instead of alone. I can coach in the moment which is really really important for me. Personally for me it feels like home. The team are happier with the routine and structure to the week. Also, just want to say how lovely it is to be there and there are many reasons for this, but number 1 is you guys and your amazing team. Professional, kind, genuine. I know how crazy much amounts of work goes into what you do so I want to say thank you and well done — you guys rock.

We are a small start-up established during the pandemic so we have been growing our business predominantly through remote collaboration from home. As the business grew it was both an operational need and a personal wish that we spend much more time engaging with each other in person. We were reluctant to commit to an office lease or a serviced office as, initially at least, we really only required a small space two to three days per week. HomeWork has proved to be an excellent fit for our needs offering fixed desks with great facilities and customer service – oh and barista coffee! Our desks have transformed our working week giving us an environment in which to collaborate in person and break away from the monotony of working purely from our homes. In short, HomeWork is providing us with a cost-effective and well-supported platform to grow our business further.

I have a better work life balance as I no longer commute to central London — the convenient location means I see more of the kids / can hang out / then return to work. I’m more productive than working from home with kids around — there’s a good mix of different spaces in which to get work done — booths / meeting rooms / breakout areas etc.
I’ve saved money — it’s a sensible cost as our previous space in town cost a lot more per desk per month. Good coffee, interesting and broad mix of people; hippy vegan surfers to finance consultants, it’s a good mix and no big egos. Good banter and strong ties with the local community.
